Stretch is how far each partial sits above an exact multiple of the fundamental, in cents. Grey rows are weak and should not be trusted. Beats are shown when the loudness of a partial rises and falls regularly, with the centre frequency of what is heard. When several partials beat in step, more than one string is sounding.
